Background and Job Purpose:

As Data & Reporting Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing the exchange of data with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accurate access to reports, BI and data feeds. Your role is critical in gathering business requirements, planning reporting strategies, and training teams to understand both the tools we offer and the data itself.

You will collaborate closely with most internal teams and with various clients to understand reporting needs and implement solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, experience in data analysis and reporting, and the ability to communicate complex insights in a clear and actionable way.

A strong background in data reporting, business intelligence tools, project management, and stakeholder engagement is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Requirements Gathering:

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather and document business reporting requirements.
  • Translate business needs into data and reporting specifications.
  • Assist in defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track business performance effectively.

Project Management:

  • Lead data reporting projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and communication.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Testing and Troubleshooting:

  • Working with the Operations Team, ensure the data is relevant and correct
  • Conduct tests to ensure data integration processes are effective, troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Training & Stakeholder Support:

  • Develop and deliver training sessions on reporting tools and data interpretation for internal teams and clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for reporting-related queries and troubleshooting.

Process Improvement & Governance:

  • Continuously refine reporting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and usability.
  • Ensure data governance best practices are followed, including data security and compliance requirements.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to business intelligence and reporting platforms.
  • Take charge of change request processes attaining to evolving client needs.

Maintenance, Monitoring, and Improvement:

  • Proactively monitor and maintain marketing and data integration systems, suggesting improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure constant communication with product and operations teams to ensure any changes or additions to data structures are being captured and reflected.


Key Focus Areas:

  • Business Intelligence & Reporting Tools – Use tools like Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent to create insightful reports and dashboards.
  • Data Accuracy & Validation – Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and reliability in all reports and visualizations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Work closely with internal teams, clients, and external partners to supply relevant, accurate reporting and data.
  • KPI & Performance Tracking – Define and monitor key metrics to measure business and marketing performance.
  • Client & Internal Training – Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions on reporting tools and methodologies.
  • Process Optimization – Improve reporting workflows, automate processes, and enhance data accessibility.


Key Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and report development.
  • An understanding of SQL, data querying, and analytics frameworks.
  • Experience in data-driven decision-making, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and present clear insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience gathering and translating business requirements into reporting solutions.
  • Strong project management experience, including planning, prioritization, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective training and communication skills, with the ability to explain data concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices.

As a Data & Reporting Project Manager, you will ensure that stakeholders and the internal teams have the tools and knowledge to work with and interoperate data. Your role is crucial in enabling efficient communication and reporting.

What We Have to Offer:

  • Compensation Range: $105,000 - $120,000 - commensurate with experience
